**NEW OPPORTUNITY - SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER (STEVENAGE BASED)**

Are you looking for a fast paced and exciting opportunity to work in the world of global automotive operations?

Do you have experience managing large, complex technical and/or business support teams?

An exciting new leadership position has arisen within the specialised supply chain operations of a market leading automotive/electronics company, where you will oversee a team engaged in supply chain functions including customer, solution and inventory planning/management,while mitigating risks and enabling profitability.

The role offers hybrid working options (minimum 3 days in office/2days from home) with some travel to visit the wider team in Europe periodically. You will also work with other members of leadership in support and development of the business group’s strategyand financial goals. Electronics experience desired, but not essential for this position.

**Your Other Key Responsibilities include**:

- Building and leveraging supplier relationships to create and align supply chain as well as operations accountability. Provide oversight and direction regarding assigned team, financial and operational activities.
- Analyse customer forecasts and trends using Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) concepts, working with customers and sales to plan and buy to forecast.
- Manages the review of inventory supply constraints, communicates resolution, and participates in follow-on activities to ensure compliance with commitments to our customers.
- Oversight of assigned engagements of team, to ensure all model metrics and measurements are being met and appropriate reporting requirements are adhered to according to contractual terms and conditions.
- Project management of program set-up, maintenance of elements including - part profile, new part add, End of Life (EOL), transitions, model changes and set-up modifications to enhance efficiency and revenue.
- Managing and coaching team to support negotiations with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
