**Job Description**:
We're hiring an experienced Financial Crime Prevention Officer to join the Risk & Compliance team in our Douglas, Isle of Man office.
- Be visible and proactively promote FCP, highlighting the importance of the AML/CFT control framework within the business;
- Assisting with the PEP control framework;
- Management of daily client screening undertaken in Risk & Compliance (Sanctions and PEPs);
- Conducting financial crime investigations with recommendations to the MLRO;
- Assist the MLRO in identifying trends within the business, with the objective being to continuously monitor and recommend enhancements to the control framework;
- Assisting with enquiries received from relevant external authorities responsible for the Isle of Man’s AML/CFT control framework and liaising with the business to ensure timely provision;
- Provision of advice and guidance to the business in respect of financial crime matters;
- Ensuring that clear and accurate records are maintained within the function.
- Contributing towards financial crime prevention training materials and delivery
**Qualifications**:
- Holds a recognised professional qualification in relation to AML/CFT.
- Good understanding of the regulatory requirements in respect of the AML/CFT control framework;
- Good understanding of industry best practice in relation to Trust and Company administration;
- Attention to detail and accuracy;
- Good numeracy and analytical skills;
- Ability to understand Trust, Fund and company legal documents and structures;
- Works collaboratively with peers and colleagues;
- Resilient and able to work under pressure and within tight deadlines;
- Risk aware and demonstrates high levels of integrity, equality and diversity in their approach to work;
- Ability to demonstrate effective communication and relationship skills;
- Able to support colleagues through periods of change;
