**Cloud Presales Specialist**:
£42,000 per annum plus £5000 Car Allowance.
Our client is looking for a Cloud Presales Specialist to join their Cloud Services Unit.
The role is responsible for supporting the building of our cloud practice, leveraging the Company’s investment in its own Cloud platform. The Cloud Presales Specialist is responsible for supporting Cloud solutions sales agreed with the Cloud Product Manager.Working with the team of cloud architects, cloud engineers and cloud sales specialists to design, build and enable repeatable solutions on the Cloud platform.
**The Cloud Presales Specialist has responsibility to**:
- Drive and document the solution design process.
- Support the building of sales enablement assets, tools to accelerate discovery, technical wins and customer on-boarding.
- Support the building of re-usable assets.
- Support the definition of new solutions that would scale the business for a specific customer base or a sales play - target customer base, execution details.
- Act as the expert in understanding the cloud market, how the Cloud competes with other offerings and how we position our cloud offerings for success.
- Collaborate with other BUs and build the technical enablement content required to sell Cloud services to existing customers and prospects.
- Evangelize the Cloud practice within and outside.
- Be client facing by acting as a trusted advisor to client on all things Cloud.
- Assist sales and pre-sales team in client facing proposals, sales presentations and RFP responses related to Cloud services.
- Ensure CRM is kept up to date with activities in support of sales campaigns/pursuits.

**Location**:
Caerphilly - involves travel to other UK locations
Post COVID Hybrid working arrangement of attending the office each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with Monday and Friday optional office attendance or working from home.

**Experience**:
**Essential**
- Experience in supporting cloud sales campaigns/pursuits in a technical capacity.
- Technical-level experience in one or more of these areas: Application Development, Middleware, Databases, Virtualization, Networking and Storage architectures.
- Proven ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
**Desirable**
- Technical understanding of Hybrid and Multi cloud challenges and approaches.
- Technical understanding of Cloud Migration challenges and approaches.
**Qualifications**:
**Essential**
- Bachelors and/or Master degree or HNC/HND or equivalent in relevant discipline.
- Competent in MS office suite i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
**Desirable**
- Recognised Cloud Architect technical qualification.
