**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Sourcing and Procurement
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential suppliers.
- Initiate contact with selected suppliers and request quotations.
- Analyse offers from suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms and conditions.
- Place purchase orders with selected suppliers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Order Management
- Monitor the status of purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to confirm order details
- Track orders in transit and anticipate any potential delays or issues
- Expedite orders if necessary to meet production or project timelines.

Documentation and Data Management
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including order confirmations.
- Update the internal database (e.g., SOLVITT) with order details, ensuring data integrity.
- Generate reports on procurement metrics.

Production Planning Support
- Collaborate with the production planning to assess inventory levels and production schedules.
- Assist with raising works orders based on procurement requirements.

**Qualifications**
- A Level or higher qualifications.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management role.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build productive relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement/ERP software.
- Solid understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (MCIPS, CSCP, CPM).
- Experience in the electrical manufacturing industry.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
