**Role Profile**

Are you a Procurement Administrator or Expediter, looking to further develop your Procurement experience?
Or have you decided to pursue a career in Purchasing and are you looking for your first role within Purchasing?
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a Junior Buyer role with a thriving business working with a global customer base.
Initially you will be responsible for placing and expediting purchase orders across the supplier base, but as you develop within the role, there is real scope to take on more responsibility and exciting project work.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Placing purchase orders and expediting deliveries with suppliers
- Ensuring all orders are delivered on time and to the required specification
- Supporting the business with information needed for customer quotations
- Assisting the team with delivering cost reductions and improved supplier performance

**Skills and Experience**
- Passion to develop a career within Procurement
- Desire to work towards CIPS qualification
- Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence to influence and negotiate
- High attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
