Childcare Worker

**About The Role**:
As a Childcare Worker, you will play a crucial role to support children's play and learning through engaging activities, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring their well-being.
You will have a passion for supporting children to reach their full potential.
You'll work closely with parents, carers, colleagues, and external agencies to provide the best possible care for our youngest children.
You will use your knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage in your interactions with children and families.
You will be involved in preparing the environment, assessing risk, and making changes to meet the needs of the children present.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support the delivery of engaging activities for children aged 3 months to 5 years, helping them learn through play.
- Observe and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's development.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.
**About You**:
We use technology to communicate with each other and our families and you will be confident in using a computer. Support will be available on specific programmes we use.
You will require a driving license and have access to a vehicle.
You will be well organised needing to record observations, sharing information with parents and carers to support learning at home.

We are looking to appoint a member of staff to join our early education and childcare settings covering Blandford and Shaftesbury as needed. We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and flexible early years practitioner who is committed to working with our nurseries aims and aspirations.
This post is peripatetic, and you will be expected to cover in Blandford Nursery, Oscars out of school club and Shaftesbury Nursery between the hours of 8am-6pm Monday-Friday.
