**Your New Role...**

The WBUK Marketing department constantly strives to create and maintain a best-in-class marketing function with an emphasis on lifetime value of WB content.

A core area of focus for WBUK is the development and growth of our franchise strategy, primarily built around DC, which is wholly owned by WB; the Wizarding World (Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts), founded on our partnership with J.K Rowling and our library of classic animation including Hanna-Barbera, Looney Tunes and Tom & Jerry.

This role sits in the WBUK Marketing department and is focused on driving the overall WBUK P&L and the lifetime value of content and products across Film, TV, Games, and Consumer Products.

The Franchise Executive will support the Franchise Manager, responsible for delivery and implementation of UK specific strategic franchise objectives and activity.

In particular, the Executive will support between the WBUK Consumer Products division and the UK Franchise team to ensure activation and implementation at retail of key initiatives.

**Your Role Accountabilities...**
- Support the Franchise Manager in delivering franchise strategies and activity in line with agreed objectives. Particularly around the Wizarding World ‘Tentpole moments’ such as Back to Hogwarts, Dark Arts, Christmas in the Wizarding World and Magical Mischief.
- Support cross-divisional collaboration, joining the dots across all relevant business units and departments in the UK with a particular focus on Consumer Products.
- Cultivate close working relationships with all relevant UK divisional colleagues including Theatrical New Release, Consumer Products, TV and Home Entertainment & Games
- Provide specific support to the Consumer Products team on these franchises, reflecting the role that Consumer Products play in an ‘always on’ franchise strategy.
- Support the CP Product and Category Managers, particularly around pitching to retailers and positioning the franchises externally.
- Be the liaison for UK CP approvals working with the EMEA CP team to ensure all activity is approved
- Maintain a strong and close working relationship with the Harry Potter Global Franchise Development team based in London and LA
- Work closely with all other relevant Divisions to optimize the franchise at retail, liaising with Customer Marketing to ensure retail plans are aligned with marketing activity across individual franchise / brand campaigns and priorities.
- Be the keeper of the Franchise calendars and pitch decks, identifying opportunities to encourage fan engagement in and outside of tentpole moments.
- Planning and running meetings and capturing minutes
- Look for opportunities to express your entrepreneurial spirit Investigate events, or experiential activities that could have the potential to generate revenue.
- On occasion you may be required to assist other Franchises (e.g. DC, Classic Animation, TV, LOTR, Horror)

**Qualifications & Experience...**
- Entertainment experience - ideally brand / franchise marketing
- Experience supporting or delivering campaigns and an understanding of what is involved from planning, through to delivery, tracking and then reporting.
- Strong organization skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Demonstrate strategic, commercial and financial acumen
- Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the media/entertainment industry and the UK retail landscape
- Unflappable
