We are seeking a committed and experienced individual with professional expertise in student mental health and wellbeing to join our integrated team in this new role, to provide specialist advice and support on student wellbeing and mental health and to deliver a range of interventions for students experiencing personal issues that may impact on their learning.

You will be responsible for identifying and managing risk in relation to student mental health and will seek opportunities to encourage and enable enhanced student retention and achievement. You will be able to respond appropriately to challenging situations whilst identifying barriers to student engagement. You will build positive partnerships

with external NHS agencies and voluntary organisations through creative and innovative approaches.

You will work in collaboration with the Student Wellbeing Manager and contribute to the development of the inclusive and embedded services to support student wellbeing at the University.

You will need to hold a degree or equivalent, together with a recognised professional qualification in the field of mental health and/or wellbeing. You will have effective interpersonal and communication skills and will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
