We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk, who lives close to our office in Daresbury to join our energetic team with the following responsibilities (see below):

- Inputting of Creditors details on SAGE, checking payment terms and bank details
- Ensuring all invoices are registered on SAGE with the correct nominal and VAT codes which are then forwarded to the appropriate delegated signatory for authorisation and matched on the system against purchase orders promptly to enable payment as agreed with Creditors
- Reconciling all Creditors statements on a monthly basis, liaising, negotiating, requesting copy invoices when necessary and ensuring information is maintained and filed
- First point of contact with all Creditors who may have queries regarding outstanding invoices
- Performing Bi-Monthly payment runs via BACS
- Filing, photocopying, scanning documents and distributing the office daily post
- Responsible for all employee expenses including registering, calculations, coding and mileage are correct and receipts are present before preparing for payment
- First point of contact for employees who may have queries regarding their expenses
- Completing routine returns and monthly reconciliations for Preferred Suppliers Rebates
- Requesting and maintaining copies of Public Liability/Employers insurance certificates for all Sub-contractors
- Any other General Office Duties

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
