**What we’re looking for**

This is an exciting opportunity for a Authorised testing facility Controller to join our team.

As a Authorised testing facility Controller, you’ll play a part in keeping some of the UK’s biggest brands on the road, responsible for providing a great customer experience through the provision of ‘front of house’ services in greeting customers, processing their job requirements, ordering parts, and advising on progress and being the first point of contact for enquiries.

**What you’ll do**
- Front of house reception work
- Progressing jobs on the system
- Including arriving & closing jobs
- Ordering parts and supplies using approved providers
- Manage both internal and external customer HGV MOT bookings in accordance with DVSA time guidelines.
- Maintain the high utilisation of the testig facility.
- Request quarterly bookings for the lane through the DVSA booking system.
- Ensure the DVSA standards are upheld within the testing lane, this includes monitoring of the calibrated equipment and eunsuring correct documentation is displayed, along with strict clenleness of the lane.
- Invoicing and job closeure of all HGV MOT customers.
- Answering telephones and dealing with a range of basic, non-technical customer queries, escalating where necessary
- Face to face customer enquiries
- Providing updates to customers
- To receive goods, keys and vehicles and document as directed
- Filing and general administrative duties as directed
- Support garage manager with management of job cards

**What you’ve got**
- Recent experience of working in a garage workshop environment, including an understanding of the Health & Safety requirements in this type of environment
- Experienced in managing customer experience both face to face as well as via the telephone
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise
- Good PC skills including use of Outlook, Word & Excel

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£33,419.00 per year
