Here at **ParkerSteel **we have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated **Transport Supervisor **to join our busy Transport Team at our **Canterbury** Site.

You will be working on a **full-time, permanent basis**, 05:00am - 13:30pm, Monday to Friday, and in return you will receive a competitive **salary of £30,000 - £32,000 (excluding overtime)** per annum dependent on skills and experience.

**Transport Supervisor roles and responsibility include**:
To ensure that customer orders and internal material transfers are made ‘on-time-in-full’ and the weighbridge office is run in an effective and efficient way at all times, maximising utilisation of all transport resources and ensuring high levels of external and internal customer service are maintained.

To ensure compliance with our Goods Vehicle Operators Licence, all statutory legislation, regulations, our insurance companies’ requirements, other Road Traffic and Parking Laws and By-Laws, as well as adherence to company policy and procedures, and professional transport industry ‘Best Practice’.

**Required Profile of a Transport Supervisor**:
The role will suit a team worker who is keen to learn and committed within this fast-paced workplace. Ideally you will hold a OLAT certificate and having Experience in construction, factory or a warehouse environment is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided. Reliability and efficiency are key attributes of the successful applicant.

You will have excellent attention to detail to ensure products are handled and stored correctly. You will need to be able to work proactively within a team but also have the self-motivation to work alone at times.
