**What you will be responsible for**:

- To establish and maintain a register of all newly diagnosed and suspected cancer patients. Collate information from a variety of sources such as pathology, surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy systems
- Update the cancer waiting times database (Infoflex) for monitoring 31 and 62 day target on a daily basis.
- Monitor and facilitate patient’s progress (tracking) on the cancer pathways, following the Cancer Management Team escalation process to highlight, prevent and resolve delays. Liaise with clinicians, nursing and other admin staff to determine the reasons for delays with cancer waiting times targets.
- To collate data from referring hospitals required for Cancer Waiting Times.
- To collect and upload clinical data as specified within the national clinical datasets i.e. National Lung Cancer Audit (NLCA)
- To facilitate the MDT meetings of an allocated tumour site. This may require being available for an early start/late finish or during lunchtimes.

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You will have the following skills/experience**:

- Significant Admin Experience
- IT literate including use of MS Office
- Excellent communication written and verbally
- NHS & EPR experience (desirable)
- Experience of other hospital software systems (desirable)
