**Recruitment Consultant for Apprenticeships**

**Salary £28,606**

**37 Hours per week X 52 Weeks per year**

Are you an experienced recruiter who enjoys the variety of the role, building relationships with people and providing a great service As part of the Apprenticeship Recruitment Team, you will play an essential part in the assessment of prior learning and experience for our new apprentices.

You will successfully assess each new apprentice’s current competence, through recognition of prior learning and experience, which forms part of the initial assessment/ pre-screening process. The recruitment consultant ensures that the apprentice is on the right programme at that time and includes eligibility checks, KSB (Knowledge, Skill & Behaviour), English and Maths attainment, and any additional learning support and or other needs completed.

**People perform at their best when they come into work knowing that they’re valued**

**Day-to-day you will be responsible for**:

- Pre-screen and assess each new apprentice’s competencies
- Build effective employer relationships with companies and assist account management for employer recruitment needs.
- Act as a college ambassador. attend networking events and build new partnerships with key stakeholders

**After your first year with us, success would look like**:

- Successfully bringing on new employers that want to recruit for apprentices
- Established strong professional relationships with other teams within the college
- Achieving recruitment KPI’s
- Built a good knowledge of college systems and processes

- Have experience working in a recruitment/Sales Marketing Environment role
- Proven experience of achieving targets/KPI’s
- Experience of developing and maintaining strategic client/employer relationships
- Ability to forward plan and interpret and analyse problems objectively
