**About Us**:
Here at J&A Movers Ltd we are excited to once again be expanding our furniture distribution team. We currently operate in 5 different locations, including Lincoln where our head office is based. Our main income stream is the collection and distribution of furniture for a client, and it is this operation that we are expanding currently.

**The Role**:
We are looking to employ a part time team member to work out of our Lincoln branch, to distribute furniture for our client within the Lincoln area.

Our new team member will be required to work 4 days a week; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. SUNDAY WORK IS NOT REQUIRED.

Our teams start between 7am and 7.30am and get paid for 8 hours a day.

A valid drivers license is essential; previous experience driving a 3.5t luton van is preferable but not essential.

**The main duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- To collect furniture and household items from residential and commercial properties in a professional, safe and courteous manner, whilst adhering to guidelines set out by our client.
- To deliver stock sold by the client, which includes furniture and household items, to customer properties. Items must be taken into the room of the customer’s choice, taking care to cause no damage to the property or the item.
- To complete paperwork provided by our client; which includes obtaining customer signatures after a collection or delivery.
- To dispose of unwanted or damaged stock following health and safety guidelines set out by the relevant authorities.

**The Nitty Gritty**:

- We require at least one working reference, preferably from the most recent employer, and one personal reference that cannot be a family member.
- The successful applicant will receive 'on the job' training.
- The successful applicant will work every Saturday - unless booked off for holiday.
- A telephone interview will be offered to some applicants.
- Applicants that have a successful telephone interview will then be offered a trial day.
- Start date of early December

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £1,444.91 per month

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
