Equifind have teamed up with an investment business that are experiencing some fantastic growth currently and need a head of group treasury to join the business.

Due to exceptional growth of the business, and the finance team growing considerably in size, the business is looking to hire a head of group treasury to manage the treasury function from top to bottom, for the next 6-9 months.

If you have a strong background in treasury and adding value to the wider business then this could be the opportunity for you.

Key duties and responsibilities for this Head of Group Treasury position include:

- Management of the day-to-day liquidity needs of the Group and legal entities
- Asset and liability management of the Group’s (and legal entity) interest rate risk, foreign currency risk, funding requirements, and capital requirements
- Accurate and expedient daily liquidity reporting
- Accurate and robust cash flow forecasting
- Defining and implementing the strategies, plans, policies (including bank exposure), and procedures to manage the Treasury risks facing the Group
- Ensure adequate liquidity exists considering stressed scenarios
- Propose solutions to finance actual / anticipated liquidity shortfalls
- Liaise with Trading and Risk regarding third party hedging arrangements ensuring the Group risks are properly managed whilst maintaining margin and cost efficiency
- Key stakeholder management for all banking relationships across all different regions
- Responsible for the timely, accurate production of all treasury-related management information
- Lead the wider treasury team and develop skill-set
- Implementation of a robust treasury framework for the business with rigorous controls/processes for the Group
- Build strong internal relationships with Group Risk, Trading, Group Finance Control, Legal and other departments
- Driving improvement in the management of cash and borrowings across the Group
- Providing oversight and guidance on the Group’s credit risk
- Responsible for the Group’s interest charges and yield generation
- Implement and maintain capital & project expenditure reporting models across the Group
- Ad hoc projects as and when needed by the CFO

Experience & Qualifications
- Ideally a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or ACT qualification with 10 years + experience
- Experience of working within the financial services/regulated sector
- A track record of treasury, risk and change management with multi-currencies
- Strong background in team management
- Strong stakeholder engagement, both internally and externally
- Working knowledge of implementing new systems, ideally within treasury

Daily Rate

This exciting opportunity for a head of group treasury will pay £750-£1000 per day depending on experience and sector background.

This role in London is forecasted to have a duration of 6-9 months, and is hybrid working with 3 days per week office based.
