Key responsibilities

**What will this role involve?**:

- To inspect incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products according to AMS Stafford quality and safety test methods, using physical and paper-based analysis techniques.
- To check and ensure all incoming raw materials and finished products comply with documented material specifications.
- To release raw materials for production use and finished products for despatch to customers.
- To maintain and improve the quality testing methods employed within the laboratory.
- To develop, maintain and trend quality incident reports with the Operations team.
- To ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and verified according to AMS Stafford's procedures.
- To perform environmental monitoring testing/ sample collection within cleanroom environments.
- To report all quality incidents to the wider team, and assist in root cause and CAPA response to complaints, concerns and issues.
- To collate test data, monitor process performance and create quality reports.
- To identify areas for improvement in quality control and assurance processes.
- To assist the New Product Development team with quality related issues.
**What we're looking for?**:

- Familiarity with Quality management activities such as NC investigation, CAPA and RCA.
- Complete mechanical performance testing on raw materials and finished products to approve for despatch.
- Ability to work in conjunction with high throughput manufacturing environments.
- Drive to investigate and support Quality issues raised within a production environment.
- To work to develop and challenge operational, organisational and cleanliness standards within a Quality laboratory environment.
