Job Summary: Responsible for selling bathrooms to both the trade and retail customers of George Bence & Sons. Achieving all sales and gross profit budgets set out and agreed to at the beginning of every financial year. Collaborate with the other department managers and sales representatives to help both parties achieve the company’s sales and gross profit targets. Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long term sales. Establish, maintain and expand George Bence & Sons customer base
Key tasks:
- Quoting and selling Bathrooms products to our customer base
- Answering the phone within three rings
- Planning and monitoring the delivery and dispatch of orders.
- Stock control and processing orders up to date.
- Fulfilling objectives and directions from the operations.
- Coordinating the use of automated and computerized systems.
- Responding to and dealing with customers needs and time frames
- Working with the ASMs to turn around quotes within the expected time frame
- Meeting KPI targets within the department set out by your line managers
- To maintain the showroom to the company standards i.e. display and brochures etc.
- Make sure the company Health & Safety Polices are complied with at all times.
- Raising of credit ( RMA ) and goods return paperwork ( GRN )
- Have team meetings with your line managers to discuss figures and any operational challenges
- To display stocked items in the correct manor
- Monthly sales promotions if required
- Working directly with the reps to achieve a mutual objective
- Staff training on new products when required
- Controlling stock orders in line with customer demand
- Daily operations of the department
- Following the correct procedures of the IT system
- Maintaining high levels of customer service
- Communication with customers on delivery times and schedules
From time to time you will be expected to carry out other duties in addition to those listed above which are within your skill and capability.
Hours
- Basic 40 hours Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm
- Saturdays on a rota basis 07:30am-12:30pm
