**Role**: Content Writer

**Salary**:£25,000 - £30,000

**Location**:Southampton

We are currently recruiting for a Content Writer to join our dynamic Marketing team in Southampton.

The Content Writer will be responsible for producing persuasive and compelling written content across various channels to effectively communicate our brand message and drive audience engagement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop high-quality, engaging and targeted copy for multiple platforms (digital and offline).
- Maintain and strengthen the brand voice and tone consistently across all communication channels.
- Conduct research to understand the target audience and tailor messaging to resonate with their needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create integrated and cohesive campaigns.
- Contribute creative ideas and concepts for advertising campaigns, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives.
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, clarity and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and emerging content marketing techniques.

**Skills, knowledge and experience**:

- Proficient in crafting clear, concise and compelling copy with impeccable grammar and language usage.
- Ability to think creatively and generate original ideas that effectively communicate the brand's message.
- Understanding of marketing principles and the ability to tailor messaging to meet marketing objectives.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers and marketers.
- Proficient in conducting research to gather information and insights for accurate and informed content creation.
- Keen attention to detail for editing and proofreading copy to ensure accuracy.
- Familiarity with SEO principles to optimise copy for search engine visibility.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
