**About This Role**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Administrator/Healthcare Assistant to join our team on a permanent full time contract at our site at ourLeicester PET-CT Centre.

Since the first operational day in 2018 our upmost priority has been patient satisfaction. Growing from a two-day service in a mobile scanner unit to a five-day service in a fixed building unit, the aim has always been the provision of services that satisfies the needs of the community and benefits the service user.

The successful role holder will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks and meeting and greeting patients.

We seek a self-motivated individual who can quickly grasp the general administration duties in this busy department.

You will also provide support to the clinical team, as a HealthcareAssistant for which training will be provided. Pre-employment screening including an enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role.

This role is 30 hours per week, working across the core operating hours 7:30 to 19:30 Monday to Saturday.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, together with a good standard of IT literacy.
- Typing skills are essential
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills are essential in order to prioritise your workload to ensure a high standard of patient care at all times.
- Work within site protocols and procedures to ensure the delivery of a quality service
- Ensure sound knowledge of site RIS systems
- Work in an efficient and effective manner to maximise throughput
- Escalate to the Clinical Lead/Regional Senior any identified clinical issues requiring further management input
- Ensure full compliance with all current AML Policies, Procedures and extant legislation
- Actively participate in departmental audits
- Be reflective in thinking and outlook and be able to source advice, coping with multiple demands during the working day
