Lecturer- Technical Theatre

Newcastle College requires a dedicated, enthusiastic and qualified person to take on the role of Technical Theatre lecturer (with a specialism in Theatre Lighting) within the Performance Academy.
The main responsibilities of the role include the delivery and assessment of high-quality programme in Live Performance Technical Production at Level 4 and Level 5 as well as undertaking a range of cohort leadership, tutorial, and programme administration duties. As a cohort leader you will be responsible for; the tracking of student progress against assessments, student wellbeing and the direct link between learners and parents/guardians. Experience of working with learners on a one-one basis and supporting learners in a pastoral context is preferred.
