**About the role**
Reporting to the Finance Manager based in our support office, you will provide support to the Finance department for both accounts payable and accounts receivable and ensure the accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions. The key elements of the role are; invoice processing, completing reconciliation of key accounts, dealing with customer queries and preparing twice monthly and ad-hoc payment runs.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Processing invoices, matching to purchase orders and addressing queries with suppliers
- Regular review of purchase ledger and reconciliation of supplier statements
- Reporting on a regular basis of any supplier issues
- Dealing with queries raised by internal staff
- Preparing and running BACS payment runs
- Business Central Item Portal Catalogue Maintenance
- Ensure firm adheres to agreed payment terms of suppliers
- Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
- Set supplier accounts for line manager approval
- Collating credit card purchases and producing monthly analysis
- Occasional involvement in business projects relevant to the role
- Previous exposure to finance ideal
- Experience in a fast paced consumer environment
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to interpret varying quantities of data and identify key drivers
- Proactive and motivated with a strong determination to succeed and emphasis on quality results
- Organised with good time management skills and ability to work to strict deadlines
- Good experience of Excel and accounting systems, preferably Microsoft Business Central
