**Finance Assistant**

We are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join our friendly team based in Devon. As a member of the team, key areas that you will support are the processing of invoices, responding to queries, ensuring timely payment processing for suppliers, employees, and customers, processing expense claims, and a wide range of other key financial processes.

Ideally you will have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail alongside a computer literacy skillset and pro-active work ethic. We are looking for someone who is approachable and a natural team-player and wants to develop a career within finance with an established, expanding company.

**Salary**:£21,586 per annum**

**Hours: 35 hours per week**

**The Finance Assistants main responsibilities will include**:

- Involved in the customer billing process and other Sales Ledger functions.
- Provide assistance with the Direct Debit set-up and collection process.
- Work with the rest of the transactional team to process new customer information.
- Work with the rest of the transactional team in the Credit Control responsibilities
- Work with the rest of the transactional team to process and arrange payment of purchase invoices.
- Provide assistance in the on-boarding and control of new suppliers.
- Process employee expenses, using the expenses software.
- Provide support to the business in preparing and submitting expenses claims.
- Perform daily banking activities.

- IT competent with knowledge of using Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
- Good communicator.
- Logical and systematic.
- Maths and English GCSE’s grades A-C (or equivalent)
