We are looking to recruit 2 full time telephonists to provide comprehensive administrative support to our busy Contact Centre. You will gather sensitive information to book patients into the appropriate appointment slots whilst ensuring efficient and sensitive communication at all times. You will help us to organise and administer activities in line with agreed service priorities.

This can be a hybrid role which can be done off site at home. You will be required to come on site for training, various workshops and as per Service needs (to be agreed by line manager).

You will need to be confident, self-motivated with excellent organisational and IT skills and be able to prioritise your workload effectively to meet deadlines whilst ensuring a high standard of service is maintained.

We expect you to be able to work under pressure with the ability to use your judgement and initiative to prioritise the urgency of particular requests within our defined guidelines.

Working for our organisation

Sexual Health Services provide services in many locations throughout Nottinghamshire. We provide a comprehensive contraception and sexual health service to a multicultural community of all ages.

Our services are highly confidential and of a very sensitive nature and therefore our staff must be able to reflect this. You will need to work between the City Hospital Campus and Victoria Health Centre throughout the week along with Community clinics as necessary.

We work weekdays and evenings, it will be expected to work some evening shifts and approximately 1 in 8 Saturday's (hours 9:30-2pm).

Training and Qualification

Essential criteria
- GCSE or Equivalent Grade C or above Maths and English Language
- Good computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word

Desirable criteria
- NVQ 2 in Customer care / Administration

Experience

Essential criteria
- Previous reception and clerical experience
- Experience of dealing with the general public

Desirable criteria
- Working in the NHS

Communication and relationship skills

Essential criteria
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Analytical and Judgement skills

Essential criteria
- Exercise judgement and know when to seek advice when dealing with patient enquiries.

**Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
