Have you always wanted to work with children and begin to make a difference in their lives? First Tots Academy are a newly opened nursery based in Wembley looking to do just that You will be supported by the team to plan activities, supervise children, and support them to develop throughout their time with us.

Once enrolled on to the apprenticeship you will be supported by the Nursery Manager to plan and manage the daily activities of the nursery. You will support the team to observe and manage children within ratios, ensure each individual child is kept safe. You will be supporting the team to shape the learning for each child by developing their numeracy and language skills. You will also be working closely with other colleagues, carers and professionals to meet the individual needs of the children such as: Feeding, Changing, Development plans etc.

Applicants must have good IT skills.

**Working Hours**:
Monday - Friday - 8:00am - 6:00pm
A total of 20 - 40 hours a week.

£5.50 per hour

**About the training**:
Over the course of 15 - 18 months (dependent upon the level of course an apprentice is being enrolled onto), you will study units such as health & safety in a childcare setting, holistic child development, safeguarding in a childcare setting, child development, communication with children, purposeful play and educational programmes, supporting children with special educational needs, collaborative working in early years childcare, wellbeing principles for children and at higher levels, child protection, data, supporting key life transitions and behaviour management (these modules may differ).

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, you will achieve a Level 2 or 3 qualification and a TQUK Diploma in Early Years.

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
