Assembly Operative
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a manufacturing company based in Old Sarum, Salisbury. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities as an Assembly Operative:

- Manufacture of flow sensors, paddle wheel and turbine models
- Manufacture of sub-assemblies related to flow sensors, including senor pickups, wiring connectors and rotors
- Entering work orders and checking material requirements
- Kitting up components for customer orders, stock and sub-assemblies from work orders picking list
- Responsible for standby test and calibrator of products when required
- Prepare products for despatch and ensure all product manuals and documentation is included
- Check stock of materials using company system to report low stock levels and carry out stock takes
- Carry out goods inward inspection and maintain records
- Processing product returns - warranty returns or service repair and calibration
- Maintain all workshop tools and stores general maintenance

Requirements:

- Previous experience in an electronic assembly role
- Experience in calibration is desirable
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, written and verbally
- Has a good attention to detail

This position is a full-time, permanent position. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 17:00pm and Friday 8:00am - 16:00pm. Salary is £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
