Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be the retained partner to Rocol for the recruitment of an Area Sales Manager to take responsibility for the South-East England.
Part of ITW, a multi-national US-owned Fortune 500 company, Rocol develop and manufacture technically advanced, market-leading Industrial lubricants and are sold via a network of key distributors.
The successful individual will develop a portfolio of existing customers, seek out opportunities to set up sustainable and profitable growth with new targeted customers directly and through Rocol's Industrial Distribution partners.
The Area Sales Manager Role:

- Promote the full ROCOL product range, backed up by a world class onsite service package, your knowledge of the UK Industrial consumables distribution market and channels will allow you to uncover, develop and deliver new business
- Responsible for all revenue growth activity within the specified account base
- Although this position does involve a degree of account management, 80% of the role will be new business focused and you will be expected to maintain a profile within our existing accounts
- Drive profitable growth of the territory by generating end-user demand and creating and converting leads
- Monitor performance and take steps to develop the pipeline
- Responsible for executing and optimising the channel strategy
- Co-ordinate with the wider distribution team to identify and exploit opportunities to grow new revenues in untapped markets
- Proactively build customer relationships through influencing, negotiating and creating an environment to maximise account opportunities
Area Sales Manager Skills & Experience:

- Knowledge of Industrial distribution and trade channels within the UK with experience in working within technical or engineering disciplines
- Significant experience operating as valued based field sales professional with ability to position benefits and identify and leverage cross-selling opportunities
- Good experience of developing relationships and driving sales growth through channel partners (industrial distribution networks)
- Agility to perform within different market segments: e.g, Food, Beverage and Industrial.
- Naturally strong interpersonal skills, forming and maintaining positive relationships with ability to work collaboratively at all levels
- Ability to effectively utilise tools, information/data, resources and customer data to drive profitable growth in line with the Rocol strategy
- Ability to travel and holds a valid driving license and reside in the South-East of England
