You'll lead our Supporter Recruitment (membership+) and Public Fundraising (regular giving, appeals, gifts in wills etc.) communications and marketing plans. Your role will be key to driv ing the communications and marketing approach forward, suggesting and developing opportunities to deliver on both our membership recruitment and fundraising targets, and leave a lasting impact.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. The role will involve travel to our head office to meet with stakeholders and to carry out work.

What you'll be doing:You'll join the Communications and Marketing directorate, and in your role as Communications & Marketing Lead you’ll be the day-to-day contact within the wider Planning and Operations team (in which this role sits) for Supporter Recruitment and Public Fundraising communications and marketing. You'll liaise with key stakeholders across the Supporter Recruitment and Public Fundraising teams and will also have day-to-day contact with the Marketing Delivery team, who are responsible for turning the plans you develop into reality.

You'll be shaping the overall communications and marketing approach with, and for, your business areas, developing campaigns and supporting the analysis of the outputs to make future recommendations. You'll be passionate about understanding audience needs and creating strategies and plans that deliver for them. You’ll use your excellent communications skills to confidently communicate and engage with senior stakeholders ensuring we are meeting both our communications and marketing, and programme, objectives.

- Communications and marketing planning experience, including multi-channel campaigns

- Able to deliver messages to a diverse range of people using different approaches
- Experience in being the voice of the audience and meeting their needs
