About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Communications Manager to join our team at Nationwide Building Society. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a critical role in driving our communications strategy and planning to achieve maximum brand and commercial effect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement integrated communications plans that align with our brand strategy and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of communications activities.
  • Lead the development of comms jobs to be done, brand integrated communications plans, and signature integrated communication briefs.
  • Drive understanding of the end-to-end customer journey of integrated communications activity and lead on evaluation to understand performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay close to market and competitor comms activity/performance to inform comms planning.
About You
  • Proven experience in supporting the development of comms strategy and comms planning, with a strong understanding of data and insight to inform decision making.
  • Confident communicator and storyteller with proven stakeholder management skills, able to influence well across the organisation.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to inspire and engage colleagues.
  • Passionate about brands and the craft of marketing, with a self-starting approach.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage workloads optimally in a fast-paced environment.
