Heating Services Supervisor

We are looking to recruit a Heating Services Supervisor who has experience of managing a team of multi skilled Heating Engineers/Multi skilled trades across our property portfolio.

Working in the Capital Works Team, your main role will include direct line management of a team of in-house engineers delivering capital works streams including heating installations, kitchen and bathroom renewals and electrical wiring. You must have experience of working in the heating industry in relation to the installation, servicing and maintenance of heating appliances, and demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of the safety procedures and current standards to carry out these works.

You will support the Capital Works Manager by providing leadership to the team through effective coaching, mentoring, one to ones and team briefings, ensuring the team members are inducted and adequately trained to fulfil their responsibilities, and are working to policy and procedure. You will also support in the management of contractors in these work streams ensuring they are meeting our standards of delivery.

In order to be successful in this role it is essential that you hold current ACS domestic gas qualifications, including core modules and appliances, have an NVQ level 2 and 3 in plumbing and heating, HETAS qualified and have experience/or qualified in renewable technologies. knowledge of wiring, kitchen and bathroom installations is desirable but not essential.

This position is included in the participation of the Connexus Call out rota in providing overnight, weekend repair cover including Bank Holidays.

It is essential for you to hold a full UK driving licence.
