**Who we are looking for**:
A Software Tester to work within Management Information Systems, who will play a key role in establishing, developing and executing quality assurance standards in a mainly SQL Server environment.

You will be responsible for the function’s development, implementation and maintenance of manual and automated quality assurance and validation tests, as well as all test plans, test cases, test scripts and test summaries along with clear communication of defects and result analysis.

You will ensure no inaccurate data or defective code reaches production based on the requirements provided. The requirements will come from multiple sources including external regulators and internal teams such as compliance, tax and accounts, therefore strong communication skills are essential to the role.

This is a fast-paced environment and you should be experienced and comfortable with regular context switching and have the ability to recall information swiftly and accurately.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

**Preferred skills and experience**:

- Experience as a Software Tester with an understanding of relational data models and SQL Server.- Strong experience of functional and non-functional testing issues.- Experience of working with continuous integration systems such as Jenkins.- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, as well as good interpersonal skills.- Ability to handle multiple streams of work simultaneously and react well to rapidly changing requirements with a positive attitude.- Experience of working collaboratively within a development team.- Appreciation of software development practices and processes.- Experience of working within a regulatory or commercial gambling environment is desirable.**Main Responsibilities**:

- Taking a shared responsibility for the development and implementation of software quality assurance for assigned projects.- Executing various types of testing according to defined test plans for assigned projects.- Escalating testing issues in accordance with the defined testing methodology and procedures.- Participating in the development and maintenance of quality assurance standards, policies, procedures and measures within the team.- Participating in the validation of test environments to ensure they are stable and ready for use.- Reviewing and tracking releases through environments in deployment pipeline, while working closely with developers and team leaders.- Performing tests on 3rd party systems and API to ensure conformity to specification and fitness for purpose.- Integrating into the development function in order to provide a link between the development and testing functions.**Want to become part of the team?**:
