**Role Overview**:
Rapid7 is seeking talented students to join our Product Management teams to help them develop great products for our customers. In this role you will gain invaluable experience in what it takes to manage and build successful cyber security products, and then bring them to market.

**As a Product Management Intern at Rapid7 you will**:

- Gain experience in market segment and competitor analysis
- Product requirements gathering and definition
- Advance your stakeholder engagement skills
- Gain experience working with an agile software development process and methodology
- Work on product backlog grooming and learn about prioritization methodologies
- Practice product feature analysis (usage and adoption) based on quantitative and qualitative results
- Work on process improvement projects
- Have the opportunity to partner with UX design and engineering teams to ensure the best possible user experiences and customer value.
- Currently enrolled in a BS or MS degree in Business, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline displaying a strong academic record and seeking a 12 month placement opportunity
- Skilled in presenting and able to display strong written and verbal communication skills both within the team and cross functionally
- Collaborative team player who has the ability to partner with others and drive toward solutions
- Knowledgeable about the software development process, from feasibility through implementation and delivery
- Highly organised and able to prioritise activities, issues and risks based on impact analysis
- Inquisitive and creative thinkers with excellent problem solving skills
- Adept at analytical and decision making skills

- You will have weekly 1:1’s with your manager and have a dedicated team mentor throughout your placement
- Full access to company internal training resources (LinkedIn Learning, Pluralsight)

- We are a hybrid working model at Rapid7 however, we encourage our students to be in the office as much as possible to help their development and building their network. Every team varies on working hours/model but you will be able to discuss this with your manager.
