Maintenance Engineer & Electrician

Hours - open 364 days per year. Only close Christmas day. Any bank holidays worked they get a day off in lieu. Will work at least 1 weekend in 3.
Rota is prepared approx. 4 weeks in advance and can be flexible.. Usual shifts are approx.. 7am-4pm, 9am-6pm - 40 hour standard week

An experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer required

Duties will include:

- Planned and preventative maintenance on a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment
- Work effectively with a range of suppliers and contract management partners.
- Ensure all maintenance issues are dealt with in a corrective and timely manner, considering the best times to conduct repairs needed.
- Assist in the management and regulation of utilities regarding water, gas and electricity.
- Develop a PPM strategy to maintain service levels and avoid unexpected expenditure.
- Identify best practice and implement improvements to ensure continuity
- Ensure that health & safety maintenance issues are prioritised for the safety of our team and our guests.
Qualifications:

- City & Guilds 2382 17th edition, 2393 Part P, 2365 Electrical installations, or working towards one of these standards
- Full driving license
Essential:

- Experience of pumps, motors, valves, hydraulics and air handling units essential
Desirable:

- Experience with refrigeration, air conditioning and heating systems
- Experience in fault finding and repairing commercial refrigeration equipment
- Ipaf category 3B
