Maintenance Engineer

We’re currently looking for Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a Milton Keynes site. The successful Maintenance Engineer will conduct Planned Maintenance and breakdown activities on shift. This is a 24/7 facility and shifts for this role are Continental, rotation days and nights.
Key Maintenance Engineer responsibilitiesnMaintaining and improving all plant, processes and assets to a safe, efficient and reliable standardnDay to day maintenance and improvement of plant, assets and servicesnEnsure all work is carried out in accordance with food and H&S standard.nEnsure the completion of the Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks and formulate improved maintenance practicesnDiagnose and repair equipment faults in a timely fashion, ensuring the smooth running of the Engineering Request SystemnActively champion health and safetynTo diagnose faults and to test , repair and maintain Mechanical / Electrical equipmentnTo observe, recognise and report on machinery or component defects or symptoms of impending failure and provide CMMS data
The successful Maintenance Engineer will be electrically biased with strong experience as a multiskilled engineer within a fast moving, complex manufacturing or logistics environmentnExperience in mechanical and electrical engineering within Manufacturing, Production and Process environmentsnHNC or apprentice trained with proven experience of working on fast- moving machinery, pumps, valves and PLC’snRelevant knowledge and experience in a similar FMCG role is desirablenStrong problem solving and root cause analysis skillsnGood knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques
This position would suit; Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Day Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, service Engineer or Packaging Engineer.
