Customs Clearance Clerk

Location: Grimsby

Our client is a leading freight shipping company, specialising in direct services across Europe. They are looking to appoint a dynamic Customs Clearance Clerk to join their successful team.

THE ROLE:
The role will require a high level of organisational skills, whilst also being able to adapt and be reactive to circumstance that requires immediate prioritisation on a daily basis.
This role requires both administrative and operations experience with both fields being active parts of the day to day duties.
This role includes, but is not limited to:
Import Customs Clearances.
Export Customs Clearances.
NCTS Transit System T-Forms.
Using related software such as Destin8.

THE CANDIDATE:
Previous experience in Imports or Exports, with the confidence to carry out daily tasks in these areas.
A positive and approachable demeanour, alongside strong communication and customer service skills, with a determination to deliver an excellent level of service.
A decisive and logical approach to problem solving and decision making scenarios, with the ability to meet deadlines both autonomously and as part of a team.
