As an apprentice at The 848 Group, you will be an integral part of their mission to redefine IT excellence. From troubleshooting and system administration to installing and upgrading hardware and software, you'll have the chance to explore diverse facets of the IT realm.

In this role, you’ll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician Qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

**A Typical Day in the Job**:

- Working on the service desk taking and handling calls from customers
- Managing customer expectations regarding ongoing issues or requests
- Carrying out password resets
- Dealing with technical issues and requests in line with contractual targets
- Managing your own diary to make sure targets are met
- Providing users with regular communication on the progress of investigations and planned solutions
- You will be tasked with installing and upgrading both hardware and software

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

**Salary, Hours** **&** **Benefits**:

- ** **£15,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday either 8am-4:30pm or 9:30am-6pm
- Unlimited holiday allowance based on a fair usage policy

**Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge**:

- A passion for IT
- Driven and motivated
- Customer service experience would be beneficial
- A willingness to progress
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and Grade 5/C in GCSE English
