**Job title**: Payroll and Finance Officer

**Reports to**: Regional Finance Director (South East)

**Location**: Southern Cluster

**Hours**:0.8 FTE, 30 hours per week.

**Salary**:SCP18, currently £27,344 FTE, £21,875 pro rata

**Purpose of the Job**

Under the direction of the Regional Finance Director, to be responsible for a payroll administration service for the schools in the Southern cluster and the central support team in close liaison with the payroll service provider.

To provide advice and support for local staff responsible for payroll at Dukes Aldridge Academy and Aldridge Adult Learning. This includes ad-hoc payroll queries and support when major changes to payroll are required.

To provide a customer-focused and effective payroll service that facilitates accurate, timely and efficient financial processing that meets the needs of school operations.

To ensure that the Trust's financial processes adhere to financial regulations, the Academies Financial Handbook and any other requirements specified by the Head of Finance.
