**JOIN OUR MICRO TEAMS IN YEOVIL, CHARD AND ILMINSTER**

12-16 hours per week - support times variable; to include one day every other weekend.

Example of support times: 10.00-14.00 / 13.30-17.00 / 14.00-18.00

You First are looking for enthusiastic and flexible support workers to join our micro-teams in Yeovil, Chard and Ilminster. You will be supporting people with autism, learning disabilities and/or mental health on a 1-1 basis within their own home.

You First is a forward thinking, innovative and market leading Social Enterprise, formed as a Community Interest Company (CIC), that enables neurodivergent people, people with learning disabilities and/or mental health illness to build and grow their lives in a way that is both meaningful and purposeful for them. This is achieved by creating small, bespoke, dedicated teams of people who are selected by the person supported and who work to enable the person to fulfil their goals, hopes, dreams and aspirations. We call these bespoke teams Micro-Teams.

**YOU FIRST WILL**:

- We pay 35p per mile for EVERY mile you travel, including commuting miles
- We offer permanent, full time, part time and casual contracts and you can choose what works best for you and your needs
- You will have a full induction before commencing work and this will include person specific training and shadow supports
- Each team has a Slack (virtual message board) page when you can obtain feedback and support from fellow team members and managers
- We operate a 24-hour On Call facility, so you always have access to support in emergency situations
- We provide an occupational pension
- We have an Employee Assistance Programme meaning you and your family have access to free and confidential 24-hour counselling and support
- We meet the cost of your DBS check
- You will receive full training and bi-monthly supervision
- If you are new to social care, you will be supported through your Care Certificate in paid time
- You will have the option to study for a nationally recognised Diploma
- You will have your roster 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your life Your roster will be in the form of an App
- You will need to be a car driver and able to work one day every other weekend and have availability throughout the week.
