Integra Education are seeking an experienced teaching assistant, to work at a family home in the Warrington area (WA4), to support a primary school-aged boy with autism and dyslexia who learns through play.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Provide tailored educational support to the student based on their individual needs, with a focus on helping them overcome challenges. In addition to adapting learning materials and activities to enhance accessibility and engagement
- Support the student in various day-to-day activities, including transitions between activities and maintaining a structured routine. In addition to foster independence while providing the necessary assistance and encouragement.
- Assist in assessing the student's progress and identifying areas for improvement. And keep detailed records of the student's achievements and challenges, sharing insights with relevant stakeholders
- **Requirements**:_
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in supporting students with autism and dyslexia
- Understanding of autism and dyslexia and strategies to support students with this learning difference
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards supporting individualized learning needs.
- Own transport (must be able to drive)
- **Working Hours**_
- 9hrs per week to start, with the intention to grow upon pupils requirements
