As a Product Listing & eCommerce Assistant you will play a large role in the sales and success of Optics Warehouse and will be required to list new products on our Magento website.

This includes sorting through data in Excel, improving wording/descriptions and optimising the listings to ensure they are SEO friendly, as well as increasing their visibility and the likelihood of conversion. The role also includes managing our existing listings.

As Optics Warehouse is a fast-growing company we may also require your assistance with marketing duties.

You will be part of a team, reporting to the eCommerce Manager, as well as working on your own initiative.

An interest or experience in the Shooting industry would be useful but is not essential.

**Key Aspects of the Role**:

- Creating new product listings accurately with comprehensive and grammatically correct information (Titles, Descriptions, Features, Specifications etc)
- Uploading images to our server and linking to each item
- Ensuring product listings are fully optimised for each channel/website to increase sales
- Reporting on marketplace performance
- Carrying out supplier prices updates
- Troubleshooting and fixing any listing issues
- Updating / uploading newer product images where needed
- Amending / updating older content or specs on product listings
- Liaising with photography team on products that need further in house studio photography
- Assisting in other website merchandising or marketing needs

- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Analytical and naturally inquisitive

- Self-motivated, eager to learn

**Experience & Skills**:

- Experience within an eCommerce team
- Technically minded
- Commercially astute with drive, determination and a self-start attitude
- Strong organisational skills as well as the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good knowledge of MS Office (excel)
- SEO experience

**The following would be an advantage**:

- Experience with Magento 2
- Experience of listing products online
- Basic HTML and CSS editing
- A background and understanding of the Shooting industry and sport.
- Knowledge of Khaos Control

- No**Please note: We are relocating from our Paignton premises to one in Torquay between Summer 2023 and 2024 which means there will be a change of commute.**
