To oversee and effectively lead on all goods on receipt of delivery and ensure that all products meet company standards and all procedures are met at all times and report any anomalies and overall inventory accuracy levels to satisfy customer requirements.

To understand & solve day to day stock queries and liaise between depots and to ensure all documentation is completed in full. This includes documentation concerning products returned and products put on QA hold.

Booking in stock for the warehouse using Excel spreadsheet and liaising with suppliers on booking times according to the goods in booking times.

To minimise stock loss/damage to agreed targets.

Responsible for running planned & daily stock takes, ensuring checks are done efficiently and within an agreed time.

Liaising with the warehouse and sales teams on the stock coming in.

To ensure compliance to internal audit requirements - CASA, BRC and Annual Stock Take Participation

Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the IT system. Producing daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved through liaising with suppliers and buying team.

To manage damaged stock and where possible re-package stock for re-sale.

Manage and coordinate the quarantining, release, disposal, and return of product to suppliers as instructed.

**Health and safety accountabilities**:

- Ensure that the Company Health & Safety Policy and Company Risk Assessments are effectively implemented at site level.
- Ensure that effective deputising cover for all matters in relation to Health & Safety are in place for periods of absence.
- Provide adequate information, instruction, supervision and training for employees to enable them to do their job safely, including fire and emergency procedures.

Requirements for qualifications, specialist knowledge, skills or key behaviours the jobholder will need to demonstrate to do the job effectively.
- Proven track record of optimum stock holding achievement
- Proven ability to manage and implement improvement initiatives within budget
- IT literacy
- Ideally possessing a relevant professional qualification and/or suitable

background experience in stock management / purchasing
- Have a detailed understanding of stock control / management

- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess excellent personal organisation and business administration
- Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative

and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to
