Also, you will develop partnerships with local authorities and other housing providers in various boroughs across London to improve housing outcomes for women involved in the criminal justice system.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Identify & strengthen links with local authorities and other housing providers to support the development of housing pathways
- Support the utilisation of Private Rented Sector accommodation as a housing option
- Build and maintain links with housing law solicitors and local law centres to provide a point of contact for key workers
- Deliver training and workshops on housing law, homelessness and move on pathways to keyworkers based within the women centres/hubs.
- Provide advice on grants available in each borough for the client group

**To be successful in the role you will require**:

- Experience of supporting vulnerable people within the housing sector
- Experience and knowledge of housing legislation.
- Ability to build effective, professional working relationships both internally and externally.
- Knowledge of the impact that contact with the criminal justice system and imprisonment have upon women and their children.
- Experience of developing and delivering housing legislation training to professionals.

**Overall Aim**
- To train advocates and keyworkers around housing and homelessness legislation impacting on women affected by the criminal justice system
- Develop effective partnerships with local authorities and other housing providers in various boroughs across London and create system changes that improve housing outcomes for women involved in the criminal justice system.
- Improve capacity of colleagues to manage complex casework for service users experiencing or at risk of homelessness
- Development of referral pathways and gain an understanding of each borough’s provision around homelessness.
- Develop knowledge and understanding of case workers on how to provide information and advice to service users
- Provide housing casework to women leaving prison

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify & strengthen links with local authorities and other housing providers to support the development of housing pathways
- Build and maintain links with housing law solicitors and local law centres to provide a point of contact for key workers
- Deliver training and workshops on housing law, homelessness and move on pathways to keyworkers based within the women centres/hubs.
- Provide casework for women with tailored housing/move on plans for each woman
- Contribute to a resource database for project workers to access regarding current housing and homelessness legislation, template letters and local contacts for each borough
- Provide advice on grants available in each borough for the client group
- Undertake appropriate, effective and accurate record keeping and data collection for monitoring and evaluation of the project and play an active role in any service reviews, audits and evaluations as required.
- Ensure that confidentiality of records and information relating to service users and staff is maintained in accordance with Housing for Women’s Confidentiality Policy and Data Protection Policy and Procedures.
- The post holder must ensure that personal information for service-users, members of staff and all other individuals is accurate, up-to-date, kept secure and confidential at all times in compliance with the GDPR 2018.
