- 08:30 to 16:00_
- Driving Licence and access to own vehicle is essential_

**About the role**

As Activity Coordinator / Receptionist you will join two established teams to work within our Park Street Activity Centre in Lincoln to maintain and increase activity provision and be the first point of contact for older people accessing our services.

Post holders will be able to identify opportunities for promoting Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire’s services, while developing a wide knowledge of our services and other services available in the area to assist people to maximise on these opportunities to live a full and active life.

**What are we looking for?**

The successful applicant will have a positive, enthusiastic and friendly nature. An appreciation of the needs and an understanding of the issues affecting older people is required.

Knowledge of the Welfare Benefit system would be an advantage.

The ability to communicate effectively in both writing and verbally is essential to the role, together with managing a complex and demanding workload.

Excellent IT skills with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and databases is required as well as the ability to staff a webchat facility.

Applicants are required to have a proactive approach, work independently and also effectively as part of a team. Self-motivation and strong commitment to service excellence are key to this role.
