**Key Responsibility Areas**
- Act as the Academy Training Coordinator, assisting in coordinating and scheduling all training activities within the Academy.
- Planning and scheduling of resources required to successfully support Academy deliverables.
- Maintain and update the Academy schedule and calendar, with the aim of supporting programmes to achieve representation at key events e.g. Training Readiness and customer reviews.
- Act as the main point of contact for the coordination and scheduling of all related training activities for the Academy.
- Working with local Facility services to ensure that Academy administration requirements (i.e. Safety, Health and Environment) are maintained and met.
- Develop good working relationships with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers to ensure an open and collaborative training environment.
- Provide support to the Academy Project Managers to deliver effective project management and scheduling services across the Academy.
- Provide support to the Academy Project Managers in audit and Quality Assurance reviews.
- Contribute to the Academy configuration process and procedures
- Support the delivery of defined work packages within a project.

**Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required**
- Demonstrates a positive ‘can do’ attitude and determination to support the Academy in achieving outputs.
- Ability to operate in matrix organisation across teams with multiple priorities.
- Experience of developing and maintaining customer relationships.
- Experience or awareness of related functions such as Work package coordination and Quality Assurance.
- Pro-active and motivated, striving for continuous improvement, effectiveness and efficiency and with a focus on achieving high performance against programme deliverables and objectives.
- Culturally sensitive and emotionally intelligent.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise workload and to work autonomously.
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think laterally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, Power-point and Project.

**Desirable**
- Experience in project planning including, risk and opportunity management, scheduling and work package administration.
- An awareness of the training cycle and Systems Approach to Training.
- Ideally experience of Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) in Data Processing.
- Qualified or working towards a Project Management qualification.
- Experience or awareness of Configuration control.
