**_What will I be doing? _**

**Role and Purpose**

**At Cancer Research UK, our focus is on beating cancer. We have recently developed a new approach to driving therapeutic innovation, to bring more effective treatments to patients faster, through the creation of Cancer Research Horizons (CRH). The CRH drug discovery teams are based at the Babraham Research Campus, Cambridge, the Milner Institute in Cambridge, Granta Park in Cambridge, the Francis Crick Institute in London, Newcastle University and the CRUK Institute in Glasgow, comprising approximately 200 staff from both industrial and academic backgrounds. We bring together the best minds in basic and clinical cancer research, the diligence and drive of pharmaceutical and biotech companies, our in-house drug discovery and alliance management capabilities to deliver breakthrough medicines for cancer patients.**

**This role sits within the Biosciences team who are responsible for target validation and disease positioning.**

**_Key Responsibilities: _**
- **Conduct research with efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail (under supervision as required)**:

- **Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic laboratory notebooks**:

- **Perform all work demonstrating due care and attention to health and safety regulations**:
