Learning Disabilities Support Worker - BS10 & Surrounding areas
- Up to £11p/h (PAYE) + holiday pay + pension contribution + benefits_
Zero hour, part time and full time hours available
A DBS on the update service is a great advantage but not a requirement.
**Key Responsibilities**:
You will be supporting 4/5 service users who require personal care and can display challenging behaviour from time to time. The team there are very experienced and know the service users well, they respond well to suggestive approaches and calm confidence. The service prioritises taking the service users out into the community on a 2-1 basis for leisurely activities and general tasks like shopping/walks etc. There are lots of shifts here on a weekly basis, 7-2, 2-9, 7-9 and waking nights also.
If you're looking for day shifts around BS10 and have experience working with adults with learning disabilities, this service would be a great place for you to try somewhere new and settle in to regular and consistent shifts.
