Job Title: Food Industry Hygiene Operative

Location: Stonehouse, GL10

Pay Rate: £12p/h, raising to £13p/h

Contract: Permanent

gap-personnel are currently recruiting for a perm role of Hygiene Operative, for one of the multinational companies in Stonehouse. They are leading distributor for food manufactures around the globe, and recently moved to the area GL10.

As a Hygiene Operative you would need to be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in working in similar role in food industry. Good written and spoken English is required for this role.

Main Duties and responsibilities:

- Cleaning and disinfecting on the production floor and around the facility, including (but not limited to): Preparation Room; Blender Room; Sanitary Rooms; COP Room; Casting line room and Casting Line room personnel airclock; End of line packing room; Material lock; Laboratories and Chemical Storage and Transport Corridor
- Ensure that the intermediate disinfection during production is carried out and documented according to schedule. This includes: Line disinfection, and disinfection all conveyors ( Conveyor from Casting Line to Wrapper )
- Disinfection of cutters, roll bar, stacking rails; Removal and disinfection of transfer scraper; Disinfection of the cutting and stacking station
- Tour of the Casting Line room at least 4x/shift
- Drains cleaning and disinfection
- Re-filling of disinfectant containers
- Ensure disinfectant drums are filled and that all hygiene stations and shoe washers are properly cleaned and filled with disinfectant
- Cleaning and disinfecting of vacuum tank for leak testing (fish tank)
- Filling of paper dispenser and other consumables
- Making sure that Food Safety and Food Quality is adhered all the times, as well as customer requirements outages, and be able to identify and understand their requirements
- Any other ADHOC tasks required by leadership

Working shifts and hours
- Monday - Thursday rotational shift 6am - 4pm, 2pm - midnight ( until mid of June )
- From mid of June Monday - Thursday 6am - 6pm, 6pm - 6am ( rotational ), early finish on Thursday night at midnight
- No weekend working
