gap-personnel are currently recruiting for a perm role of Sanitation / Hygiene Operative, for one of the multinational companies in Stonehouse.

They are leading distributor for food manufactures around the globe, and recently moved to the area GL10.


As a Sanitation Operative you would need to be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in working in similar role in food industry.

Good written and spoken English is required for this role.

Main Duties and responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and disinfecting on the production floor and around the facility
  • Line disinfection, and disinfection all conveyors ( Conveyor from Casting Line to Wrapper )
  • Drains cleaning and disinfection
  • Refilling of disinfectant containers
  • Ensure disinfectant drums are filled and that all hygiene stations and shoe washers are properly cleaned and filled with disinfectant
  • Filling of paper dispenser and other consumables
  • Making sure that Food Safety and Food Quality is adhered all the times, as well as customer requirements outages, and be able to identify and understand their requirements
  • Any other ADHOC tasks required by leadership
Working shifts and hours

  • Monday
  • Thursday rotational shift 6am 4pm, 2pm midnight ( until mid of June )
  • From mid of June Monday
  • Thursday 6am 6pm, 6pm 6am ( rotational ), early finish on Thursday night at midnight
  • No weekend working
