School Cleaner

Spotlight Cleaning Services Ltd is an established Contract Cleaning Company started in 1998. We are celebrating our 25th year of business this year.

We are looking to appoint a Temporary Cleaner to cover a long term absence through illness.

To start 6th March 2023 until end of term in July (approx 5 months). A review will take place as it may be extended further

The job is school term time only. Holidays must be taken in school holidays.

10.5 hours per week, Monday-Wednesday 3.30pm to 5.30pm and Thursday/Friday 3.30pm - 5.45pm (school term time only) to join a dedicated cleaning team at a school in Belper.

Working as a member of a cleaning team of four cleaners to provide a clean and hygienic environment for all users of the internal areas of the school buildings.

Maintenance and Cleaning
- Carry out cleaning tasks as directed by the appropriate supervisor or manager to include:

- Mop sweeping.
- Single solution mopping.
- Spray cleaning.
- Damp wiping.
- |Emptying bins
- Cleaning of toilet facilities and associated tasks required to achieve a high quality of cleanliness.
- Cleaning of fixtures and fittings.
- The use of appropriate cleaning equipment and machinery.
- Ensuring the safe use of chemicals, machinery and equipment when carrying out the cleaning function in line with current legislation, standards and Trust policies and procedures for Health and Safety and in accordance with training provided.

Contract length: 5 months
Part-time hours: 10.5 per week

**Salary**: £9.50-£10.42 per hour
