School Cleaner

Spotlight Cleaning Services Ltd is an established Contract Cleaning Company started in 1998. We are celebrating our 26th year of business this year.

We are looking to appoint a part time School Cleaner to join a dedicated cleaning team at a school in Belper.

The job is school term time only. Holidays must be taken during the school holidays.

12.5 hours per week,

Monday to Friday (term time only) so 38 weeks per year.

3.30pm -6pm (or we can arrange a later start time 4pm until 6.30pm.)

Start Date 15th April 2024

Working as a member of a cleaning team of four cleaners to provide a clean and hygienic environment for all users of the internal areas of the school buildings.

Maintenance and Cleaning
- Carry out cleaning tasks as directed by the appropriate supervisor or manager to include:

- Mop sweeping.
- Single solution mopping.
- Spray cleaning.
- Damp wiping.
- Emptying bins
- Cleaning of toilet facilities and associated tasks required to achieve a high quality of cleanliness.
- Cleaning of school offices and classrooms
- Cleaning of fixtures and fittings.
- The use of appropriate cleaning equipment and machinery.
- Ensuring the safe use of chemicals, machinery and equipment when carrying out the cleaning function in line with current legislation, standards and Trust policies and procedures for Health and Safety and in accordance with training provided.

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 12.5 per week
