Inclusive Consulting is delighted to be partnered with our mental health support charity client in their search for a Freelance Fundraiser to join their team.

In this role, you will encourage and manage donations in all forms including corporate, individual giving, community fundraising, and gifts & wills. There will be a large focus on cultivating business relationships, and you will be meeting with potential major donors in order to develop partnerships and further the charity’s efforts. This is a multifaceted role that requires self-motivation and an eye for opportunities. You will be organising events, competitions, and other fundraising efforts, as well as planning incentives for donors.

This role would suit an experienced fundraiser who can utilize their pre-established connections to hit the ground running and quickly build charity support. A desire to help others is essential as you will be assisting the organisation in its mission by cultivating partnerships and spearheading fundraising efforts. You must have excellent communication and relationship building skills, and a sociable attitude as you will be running fundraising events and meeting charity supporters regularly.

You may choose to come into the office based in Sheffield, although this role can be hybrid or entirely remote. This is an incredibly flexible role that provides freedom around what type of events you plan, your target donors, as well as your working hours and location.

The position is fully commission-based, but on-target earnings would generate c. £40k. There is no cap on commission earnings, so exceeding this amount is possible with major donors or recurring commission from retained partnerships.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Research and identify new business opportunities
- Identify key decision makers and use strong negotiation skills to articulate the benefits of a partnership
- Set and reach key milestones to drive performance
- Garner support for the charity by organising and attending various different fundraising events
- Cultivate new partnerships and continue pre-established ones through meetings, events, and sponsorship packages
